I think I found the rest of the supplies I needed for the awning at http://www.sailrite.com/. They have the rope feed that I need for the channel. I think I might make some detachable rain wings for the awning.

If you are in the market I would check out the classifieds at www.tincantourists.com. I found mine using craigslist. I didn't go out looking for a metzendorf, but really just for a small canned ham trailer. I think it is just persistence...and combing the internet a lot. They are out there.
