I see some differences with the 73...the diamond pattern above the windows and the rear end. The older ones curve in and don't have the bumper. I have yet to see any models from 1964-1971
Hi! I'm from New Lyme, Ohio.We bought our "Metzie" around 1991. We found it by accident when my former band director put it in his front yard and put it up for sale. We bought it for $1200. It's a 1969 from what we've been told. We used it quite a bit then stored it in the garage for about the next 8 1/2 yrs. We have pulled it out and are planning to use it at the Ashtabula fair in August. She's a pretty little thing and I love her. We are at the present having a "paint"job done on it so it looks "nice" according to my 16 yr.old daughter.

Welcome to my road to renovating my 1962 Metzendorf Travel Trailer. The Metzendorf is a unique trailer in that it is only 6 foot 4 inches high, small enough to fit in a garage. Mine is the 15 foot version. The unit includes a drop floor so most people can stand in the middle of the camper. It also came with a furnace, 2-burner stove, propane refrigerator and closet for a portapotty. She is also wired for 110 and 12v. The camper sleeps 4 when the dinette is turned into a bed. I am attempting to renovate her to be respectful of 1962 while keeping the cost down.
