Just got back from the Tin Can Rally in the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York. I got to chat to so many very friendly people. Was a good time. A bit different than my usual trip to the woods. There were two other Metz's there.

Welcome to my road to renovating my 1962 Metzendorf Travel Trailer. The Metzendorf is a unique trailer in that it is only 6 foot 4 inches high, small enough to fit in a garage. Mine is the 15 foot version. The unit includes a drop floor so most people can stand in the middle of the camper. It also came with a furnace, 2-burner stove, propane refrigerator and closet for a portapotty. She is also wired for 110 and 12v. The camper sleeps 4 when the dinette is turned into a bed. I am attempting to renovate her to be respectful of 1962 while keeping the cost down.
