I think that one was on the market a while back. or else there was another one on the same Craigs list. It sure looks rough to me. I have been looking at them for a few months. Would like to find one near AZ. Claudina130

Interesting! If we had a place to store, would be great project or for spare parts.

Good to see you on again. It sounds like you've been busy like us. We're refinishing a floor.

You'll probably feel safer with the electric brakes.

Yes I have been too busy to spend time with the camper. I am looking into trying a weekend in November at a campground in the Northeast. My Metzendorf has a heater...and it is very toasty. In May the temp got down in the 30's at night, and I still kept a few windows open with the heat on. The original heater in my Metzendorf only has 2 settings, pilot and on. If the windows are shut, the on settings turn the camper into a sauna.

If electric is available where you camp,a small ceramic electric heater works for us. Of course in the boon docks then what you have is much better.

Happy Camping:-)

Good luck Brin! That trailer looks like it needs a good friend. I hope to convert this blog into a website to be a better resource for Metzendorf owners to exchange info and share pictures. The contacts I have made surely have been helpful in restoring my trailer. Best of luck!
